Our fourth visit. Travelled to Pisa for our last night of our holiday. Just like walking in to your local now. Very very friendly young staff. A little excitement for me being allowed to find the parking space at the back of the hotel. Excellent very clear sheet giving directions down the narrowest of streets rubbing shoulders with a couple of fruit stalls! Excellent advice given for lunch ( very good choice). Room 202! Beautiful overlooking the river. Very old fashioned comfort! Lots to see and that tower is just around the corner. A must !!!!

I liked the historic aspect of the hotel. The views from my room was great. You could see the river. The room was dated but that's the charm. Same for the rest of the hotel. It was clean and I had a proper sleep. The parking is inconvenient though. The breakfast is basic too.

Very beautiful, has a nice roof terrace. Don't forget the aperitif in the evening for just 4€. The staff is super friendly. The plumbing is done weirdly so the toilet can be very loud. The breakfast is a continental one (no hot foods). If you're vegan there isn't much to each but it's doable. Other than that we had a really nice stay!

Great location right in the middle of everything. Lovely old building in a picturesque lively little spot. On a night grab a beer from the little newsagents next door and sit on the wall by the river which will be lined with local students all doing the same. There's a nice little bar directly behind the hotel in the alleyway serving good beer and playing great music. Top notch spot.

We came across this hotel spontaneously and were not disappointed. Anyone looking for a luxury hotel is wrong here, the focus here is on the importance and history of the hotel. The service and friendliness was impressive. Even when we wanted to drink a wine late in the evening on the beautiful roof terrace, we were immediately assigned a member of staff who brought the wine up to us and served it. 4 months later we received mail regarding a traffic offense. After consultation with the hotel, they took care of the communication and processing to support us. A friendliness that cannot be taken for granted. The only thing that wasn't convincing was the breakfast, but it could also have been due to the Corona situation. We would like to thank you again for the great stay and look forward to your next visit!breakfast is basic too.

We stayed here in early July 2018 just for one night. As the Royal Victoria is the oldest hotel in Pisa the management did apologise for renovations etc. But myself,my husband and our two kids 12yrs and 9 yrs loved it! Our room was old and quirky but everything was comfortable and spacious. A large standing fan was on in our room on arrival. The beds were super comfortable. The bathroom had all you could need. We had a beautiful view overlooking the Arno. Sadly we were only one night here to visit the sites so we were up early had a great breakfast as we were heading to Florence. One of the staff brought myself and the children back to the old kitchens to show us all the antique items etc. Its a gem. The hotel organised a taxi for us to the train station we only waited about 10 minutes they were great. I forgot to mention I have walking difficulties and had my wheelchair with me. There is a lift in the hotel it is small but works perfectly, again management apologised for this but I saw no need. All the staff were so accommodating and friendly and the hotel itself is truly beautiful just as it is. It is worth even one night.

What a great location! And charming hotel! You can really imagine what a grand hotel it was back in the day. I really enjoyed te atmosphere and extremely nice and helpful staff. They accommodated all our needs such as ironing, they offered complimentary drink on arrival and they have offer a great service if you need a taxi! It’s easy to walk to anywhere in pisa from there, either the square with the tower or the train station. It’s also located next to the best gelateria!! - absolute must! Ask staff on how to find it! The breakfast is also very well priced and I would recommend it, you can find a little bit of everything there. Only con: no aircon
